Forest Bathing

Slow down and let the woods work their quiet magic.

These gentle, guided walks invite you to engage all your senses, deepen your connection to the natural world, and find calm through stillness, breath, and presence. Rooted in the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, forest bathing is a simple yet powerful way to soothe your nervous system, reduce stress, and feel more grounded — body, mind and soul.

Wild Swimming

Brave the chill, share the joy, and celebrate the magic of moving water.

These wild swimming meetups are about more than just the dip – they’re moments of connection, laughter, and courage, often followed by a warm drink and a good chat. Whether you’re new to cold water or a seasoned dipper, you’re warmly welcome to join the swimble shenanigans and mark your milestones with a splash (and maybe a badge or two).

Workshops

Gentle, practical, and full of heart.

My workshops offer space to slow down, learn something new, and connect more deeply with your body and breath. From Bowen Therapy introductions to seasonal meditations and mindful movement, each session is designed to be welcoming, enriching, and rooted in everyday wellbeing.

Faebait Apartment was amazing. It was immaculate and comfortable. Brian was friendly, helpful, and kind. There were wonderful walks to take from the apartment and many things to do close by. It was also a great place to base out of for seeing things a bit further away—we went to Applecross and Dunrobin Castle. Highly recommend!

All of us were really in awe when we arrived. The location is very peaceful and quiet. We immediately felt at home. The nearby trail was special to us too, and we even met a neighbour and welcomed us. The hosts were really nice people and very hospitable. We will definitely pick this bnb again if we plan to go to the highlands.

Everything in the house was pristine, everything you could think you needed was catered for. Even had a welcome pack. The house location is very close to Muir of Ord but you could be 50 miles away as it is so peaceful. The surrounding area is beautiful. The price is very reasonable and we were lucky to find this gem. I will not hesitate when back in the area to hopefully rebook another stay.

A beautiful stay at Brian & Helen’s home. The house was exactly as described, set in the middle of nature with full privacy and a very quiet area. It truly felt like home, and the hosts were very supportive and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!
